Winter
Cold, hard frosts,
Bare branched trees,
Riverbanks ready to burst,
As rain clouds grow.
Winds blow hard,
The sun is scarce,
Hibernating critters,
In sleep so deep.
Winter’s kiss,
Is not to be missed.
