Today, I’ve been tired. I woke up feeling ill in the early hours of the morning, and it took me quite a while to get back off to sleep. As a result, I woke up wanting to just go back to sleep.

Now, I know that I can’t do that. My sleep pattern is pretty set in stone, and it takes a hell of a lot for me to actually decide to have a lie in. Usually, it means that I am very sick. I don’t sleep in the day. It messes with my sleep pattern, which in turn, messes with me.

JUST GET ON WITH THINGS

Basically, I had two choices. I could push forward, and force myself to keep going, which would lead to me burning out and not really achieving anything much… or I could take some advice thatShaunta Grimes(If you don’t know her, you should. She’s an amazing person, and she has a lot of really good things to say.) taught me a couple of years ago.

JUST TEN MINUTES

Yup. That’s it. Just do ten minutes of whatever you have on your to do list. Then you can chalk it up as a win. Usually, it leads to you doing more, but if you don’t…
