On Better Days And Tiredness
Today has been a much better day for me. Though the weather has not been brilliant sunshine, there have been blue skies in patches and I even spied the sun a couple of times.
I spent most of the day writing, and got the best part of 10,000 words written. I started my timer (for my ten minutes minimum) and by the time I finished, way more time had passed.
THE HALF FINISHED SENTENCE
One thing I’ve noticed though, and I thought I’d share it with my fellow writers, is that yesterday I left it on a half finished sentence, and today, it was far easier to pick it up again.
It’s not a pleasant feeling when you have to leave it there, in some sort of suspended animation, and I’ll be honest, it made me twitch a bit, but I’m actually realising that the twitching is worth it, because it was so easy to jump right back in.
I found that I wanted to get going this morning, because I wanted to finish that sentence. I’ve done it again today in the hopes that it pulls me to write those oh-so-difficult, first few words tomorrow (I shall keep you updated).
A LAZY DAY
I’m now home, curled up with my furbabies, with Angel on the TV, while writing this.
