Hello July. Goodbye To The First Half Of 2023
Hey! So, I’ve been pretty absent from this blog for most of this year. Honestly, this year has been challenging for me on several levels.
I have been struggling a lot with my health. My chronic pain has gotten a lot worse.
I have been diagnosed with tendonitis and am now waiting for cortisone injections in my wrist to try and bring down the inflammation.
I’ve also been diagnosed with lipi-lymphedema, which is a mixture of abnormal deposits of fatty tissue in my legs, combined with carrying additional fluid in them too. I’ve been getting very closely acquainted with my new compression leggings, which is great fun.
In mental health terms, I have had to work an ending with a psychotherapist, and am currently building a therapeutic relationship with my new therapist.
And then, with not one word of exaggeration, on June 3rd, I had one of the worst days of my life when I had to say goodbye to my darling dog Sweet Pea. She was the bestest little fur baby in the world.
Saying goodbye to her broke my heart. The only consolation I can take is that she wasn’t suffering any more. I honestly don’t know if I will ever truly get over losing her. We were so close, and so in tune with…
