Famous Last Words
They always say something about famous last words, don’t they? All may have been well when they thought it, but I can assure you, that everything is most definitely not well now, and it hasn’t been for quite a long time, not that they have noticed anything.
Adults can be so self-absorbed and, quite frankly, stupid. They keep bumbling along in their own lives, completely oblivious to what else may be going on, and then they wonder when we go completely off the rails.
It started the day after they made the announcement. It was like all the adults relaxed, and then it started.
It was small things at first, but then, bigger, until we felt sure that they would eclipse the sun.
And still, none of the adults noticed it.
I’m a member of the best writing community online. It’s called the Ninja Writers Club . If you’re a writer, you should really check it out. There are lots of awesome classes, write ins, accountability, and just the feeling of being in a community of people who love writing just as much as you, is pretty amazing.
I really can’t explain how much this community has helped me. My writing quality and productivity has improved dramatically. Seriously.
