Episode One, Scene Two: Bullied
Laughter and voices filled the hallways of The Academy. It mingled together so Piper couldn’t make sense of any of it. She pulled her bag higher onto her shoulder and clutched her tablet closely. She hugged the walls as she moved silently, in an attempt to be invisible.
She almost had friends here at first. She sighed. That was until they had found out that her mother worked for The Corporation.
When they found out, barely anyone would talk to her. She immediately became the outcast, hated by all of her peers.
She held her breath as she stepped past several girls clustered outside the science lab.
Please don’t let them notice me.
For a moment, she thought she might have gotten away with it..
“Look who it is! Watch out girls, there’s a Spy nearby.” A girl with long, blonde curly hair crossed her arms and turned to face Piper.
Piper heaved a sigh.
Suzanne was one of the worst of them, even though she was almost two years younger . Thirteen, unchipped, and far too bright, she always seemed to know exactly what to say to strike at Piper’s worst wounds.
