Dogs
A constant companion,
A smile on her face,
She’s wagging her tail,
She wants you to race!
He’s got a long nose,
And a long, long back, too,
He’s moany and groany,
And just keeps seeming to grow.
He’s playful and wicked,
He barks all day long,
He used to be scared,
But he now joins the throng.
Then there’s the little one,
Who’s senile and old,
She’s blind and deaf,
But she knows when she’s cold!
The crazy one’s next,
Blue roan with no brains,
But I think it’s a trick,
To avoid being trained.
