… And An Update
Dear Hearts,
I seem to be making a habit of apologies at the moment, and for that I am sorry. (Lol)
I have been having some major physical health issues, which still aren’t fully resolved. I have had to come off some of my pain medication, which, as you can guess, has caused my fibromyalgia to flare up quite badly. Unfortunately that’s what happens when your body decides that anti-inflammatories are going to actually cause inflammation!
This has had a huge impact on my writing and art life, and the last few weeks have been some of the least productive in a long long time.
I’m trying to get back on track though. I worked out that one of the reasons that I’m struggling with series two of 5G{hosts} is that although I have the entire series of scenes plotted out, I’m lacking in the world building side.
This series of 5G{hosts} takes place mostly in The Dark Places, and so, I’ve worked out that I need to flesh out the entirety of this setting, and not just a few select locations there.
I am also working on the second novel in my contemporary YA series 12Steps. The title of this novel is The Girl With Half A Soul, and follows Lily, a surviving twin as she copes with the grief from the loss of her sister.
Art- wise, I am working on a drawing of my mum’s Pomeranian, Quarky. I’m also doing a digital skin tone study, which I am hoping to develop and turn into a tutorial.
As I said, productivity wise, things are still slow, but I’m trying to take all the small wins that I can.
