2023 Hopes and Dreams
Dear Hearts,
Happy new year + one week!
I know it’s a little late to be saying happy new year, but sometimes things don’t go according to plan.
You see, I’m on medication. Quite a lot of medication, actually. I like to joke that I’d probably rattle if someone shook me. Anyway, the reason for the overshare is that the pharmacist couldn’t get hold of one of my medications so I had to reduce the dosage to try and eke them out.
This basically sent me into withdrawal, which meant an IBS flare, severe nausea and exhaustion. Thankfully, they can now get this medication again, so I started taking the higher dose about three days ago. However, it’s going to take a while to get back into my system.
So, I had all of these plans to send out an email on January 1st, and start fresh that day, but when it rolled around, I slept most of the day and was in a ton of pain the rest of it.
Pity party over.
I hope your first week of the year has been better and slightly more productive than mine. That said, I do have big plans for this year.
